RTMP disconnected

There might be many reasons why RTMP(s) gets disconnected without apparent reason.

Incorrect stream key or RTMP URL

Ensure you use the correct authentication and RTMP URL for ingress.

Multiple ingests using the same stream key

Ensure you are only sending one stream per stream key. Otherwise, one of the ingests might be denied.

If you need source redundancy, let us know, and we will work out either an active/active or active/passive setup.

Faulty stream settings

While we use soft limits for most situations, we may limit ingested streams. Sending a 4Kp120 stream on a channel that has been configured for 720p30 might be cut off. If you need to drastically change settings for production or testing, let us know, and we will help you.

Jittery connection

Even if you have a fast network connection of 1 Gbps, there can still be jittering. Jittering in a live-streaming setup is one of the most common reasons for buffering on the viewer side.

If you can, check your network statistics, and if you do not manage to get it working correctly, let us know, and we can help you work it out.
